Woolwich Arsenal
Our candidates for Woolwich Arsenal
Ramesh Perera-Delcourt
I have been a local resident for over 10 years. If elected, I would continue to campaign to support local businesses, improve the way developments in the area might increase local infrastructure, and address how the management of leasehold properties affects life in Woolwich. As a Liberal Democrat I know how important it is to listen to local people and share decision making. As your councillor I would work hard to ensure residents have a voice in Woolwich Arsenal.
Andrew Lock
I have worked in history education at all levels for fifteen years. As a result I know how important it is that the council provides local spaces for children and adults where learning or socialising can be made safe and engaging. For example, improving library provision, protecting sports facilities and making sure there are friendly and welcoming places for the community to meet. In addition,I want a renewed focus on keeping our public spaces clean from litter and fly-tipping. As a Liberal Democrat, I believe the community should be consulted properly on the issues that affect them and as your councillor I would support residents in their concerns.
Michaela Moores
I've been in South East London for almost 15 years and it's my favourite place on earth. Where else combines such richness of human diversity alongside gorgeous green spaces and cultural opportunities. As a Liberal Democrat and Royal Arsenal leaseholder I know the importance of listening, trusting and collaborating with our community, and the power of kindness to deliver change.
If elected I would campaign to support local venues and community spaces, bringing my experience in arts management and disability inclusion to drive accessibility and quality. I would work closely with residents to support them on issues regarding building safety and more transparency for leaseholders.
