Shooters Hill

I'm delighted to be standing as a Liberal Democrat candidate for Shooters Hill in the upcoming council election. I have lived in Shooters Hill for thirty years and brought up my family here. At the same time, I worked in Greenwich as a teacher and then senior leader. 

If elected I will campaign for our roads and pavements on the Hill to be well maintained, safe and cleaned regularly and for the council to work effectively with Transport for London to ensure good bus services. 

As a Liberal Democrat I believe local people should be properly consulted over changes that will affect them because they know what's best for their community. 

Greenwich has been my home for nearly forty years and I was glad to have been able to raise my son here. I value the borough’s green spaces and fascinating history but many people living in the borough still face significant challenges.  

I believe local services work best when people are properly consulted.  If elected, I would listen to peoples’ concerns and work to represent the interests of all residents on the Council. As a Liberal Democrat, I believe that democratic challenge within the council leads to better outcomes for residents and that in such divided times we should work constructively to improve life in the borough.
