I'm delighted to be standing as a Liberal Democrat candidate for Shooters Hill in the upcoming council election. I have lived in Shooters Hill for thirty years and brought up my family here. At the same time, I worked in Greenwich as a teacher and then senior leader.
If elected I will campaign for our roads and pavements on the Hill to be well maintained, safe and cleaned regularly and for the council to work effectively with Transport for London to ensure good bus services.
As a Liberal Democrat I believe local people should be properly consulted over changes that will affect them because they know what's best for their community.
