Ulysse is a strong local candidate, who grew up and lives in Eltham, eager to give back to his community as your Member of Parliament.
Locally, Ulysse is an active volunteer. After working at the Shooters Hill Tennis Club for over half a decade, he picked up more volunteering opportunities over the Covid pandemic. For instance, he supported refugees through the Greenwich Sanctuary Project, has regularly attended events to support local green spaces, including gardening and litter picking, and has supported local initiatives on cycling and free school meals. Currently, he has devoted more of his time to the Greenwich Food Bank, having previously supported its work in Eltham, and now volunteering as their on-site cleaner and helping manage their social media.
Ulysse, who is currently completing a Master’s degree at the London School of Economics, has stood twice in elections to Greenwich Borough Council.
Within the Liberal Democrats, Ulysse is a strong internationalist and uses his French-British background to help the Liberal Democrats work closely with our partners in Europe. Recently, Ulysse was elected to the Lib Dem delegation to the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats in Europe, where he will work with sister parties to create policy that applies across Europe. He recently worked on a motion to combat hate speech, in particular opposing the anti-immigrant rhetoric from Home Secretary Suella Braverman.

Chris was born and raised in Greenwich and is passionate about our area.
As a London Assembly candidate for Greenwich in 2021 he fought to stop Labour’s polluting Silvertown motorway tunnel. As our MP he will fight for the investment in climate action we need, including the reversal of Southeastern’s timetable cuts.
As a young professional who rents, he knows how tough it has been in the cost-of-living crisis and will fight for the support families in Greenwich need.
Chris’s job sees him scrutinise government policy every day so that he can advise campaigns on how they achieve their aims. He wants to use this knowledge to deliver a fair deal for Greenwich.
A race equality campaigner, Chris is passionate about tackling inequality. He will stand against the government’s shameful Rwanda deal and fight for more safe routes for refugees so we can protect the most vulnerable from conflict and human traffickers.
He will fight to address the damage to Britain’s economy and our standing in the world caused by the government’s Brexit deal by working for a closer relationship with Europe.
As our MP, Chris will demand better for Greenwich and Woolwich.
Outside of work and politics, Chris loves sport and is a lifelong Charlton fan. He plays rugby and loves going for walks in Greenwich Park.
